It’s Official James Franco & Anne Hathaway to host the Oscars

It’s Official, James Franco and Anne Hathaway will host the 83rd Annual Academy Awards.

I really can’t believe they went this young with the co-host for the 83rd Oscars. Don’t get me wrong I’m excited to see both Anne & James up there and can’t wait.

I’m a huge fan of James Franco I’ve been since the first Spiderman and since we have seen him host SNL doing a great job; I feel like we are in for a great show.

Now with Anne Hathaway I’m not her biggest fan but she is very talented and did a great job in the opening bit of the 81st Academy Awards.

Anyway it’s goes, it’s still the Academy Awards and I’ll still have a great time watching on February 27th 2011.

Both might receive nominations this year and I wonder if it will effect how the academy votes. What do you think?

Who I would like to see host the Oscars

NPH (Neil Patrick Harris)
I would love to see NPH host the 83rd Academy Awards show even if I think he would be “suited up” better for the 84th Academy Awards after he has two more movies released next year,  Harold & Kumar and The Smurfs.  The likelihood that he will be offered this year or even take it this year seems very unlikely, but I will always have hope for NPH.

Jon Stewart
Jon is a very funny man and a great show host, but he hasn’t been is a movie in years.  On one hand I believe he would raise the Oscars viewing audience in the 18-35 years range way up, but again he really a TV man.

Robert Downey Jr
I think this would be the perfect fit for him but I also think he might do better with a co-host maybe Jon Favreau; the two funny men up there would be perfect.

I guess I’ll have to wait just like everyone else and hope it turn out to be one of these guys.
